Job Title: Allied Health Assistant
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Allied Health Assistant to join our team, specialising in providing person-centered care and support to both ageing and disability clients. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the lives of individuals with a range of physical, intellectual, or sensory impairments, as well as elderly individuals requiring specialised care.

Responsibilities:

Individualised Care Plans: Implement individual care/treatment plans in collaboration with the client, their family or significant others and treating allied health professional.

Personal Care Assistance: Provide compassionate personal care and assistance to clients with daily living tasks, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.

Mobility Support: Offer comprehensive support to clients with mobility needs, ensuring their safety and comfort.

Health Management: Assist clients in managing their medications, health-related needs, and coordinating medical appointments as required.

Emotional Support and Social Interaction: Provide emotional support and encourage social engagement, facilitating participation in community activities and events.

Behavior Management: Utilise positive behavior strategies to support clients with complex behaviors, fostering a nurturing and empowering environment.

Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess clients' progress and communicate updates to families and other relevant parties.

Health and Well-being Assessment: Conduct health assessments and identify potential risks or changes in clients' health conditions.

Documentation and Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.

Requirements:

Education: Education to Certificate III in Allied Health.

Experience: Prior experience in working with both ageing and disability clients is highly desirable.

Administrative ,Microsoft Office and CMS skills.
